What is a Plenum Spacer?
A Plenum spacer is a component designed to be installed between the upper sections of an engines intake manifold, specifically in engines with a multi-piece plenum, such as the VQ35.
It's an easy way to add more torque and HP to your mighty VQ35DE by getting more air into it. For years intake plenum spacers were an easy way to do this but we were never really happy with what was available on the market. We've designed a tapered spacer to allow more air to the front cylinders which results in an improvement in both mid range torque and in top end power.
A common issue when using a spacer like this is that the center bolts can either leak or crack the OEM manifold. We've included custom spacers to combat this and with this manifold you'll find a brand new lower and upper gasket to suit.
- CNC Machined 6061-T6 aluminium spacer
- Includes all bolts, washers, spacers and gaskets required for easy installation
- Tapers 1/2 inch (12.5mm) at front to 5/16 (8mm) at back
NOTE: Only fits the VQ35DE motors. Will not fit the VQ35HR found in late model 350z's/G35's
